New Voice Project Request Overview


Voice Services provides device installations for new or renovated buildings that require 5 or more devices. Project managers can use the New Voice Project Request form to submit a request with their respective needs. The form should be submitted after the initial kick off meeting as the minimum timeline for a request is 15 business days. Any projects that desire installation in a shorter timeframe will be subject to a rush fee. This includes services such as phone relocations, additions, installations, and potentially cabling work. The cost for these expedited requests is double that of the standard rate. For instance, a standard request priced at $100 would incur a rush fee, totaling $200.

Optional Features

Campus Connectivity – The installed devices can be configured to connect to the campus network.

UCMed Connectivity – The installed devices can be configured to connect to the hospital network.

Jack Support – Our team is willing to work with new or existing jacks, to bring connection to your location. This additionally includes wall jacks, as needed.

Faxing Support – Each project can determine if they require faxing support for any of their installed devices. We can support analog faxing or faxing via Rightfax, dependent on the Project Manager’s choice. To request the Rightfax service, please use the Ask an IT Question form.

Jabber Softphone Support – If the project requires Jabber Softphone, our team is available to provide access to the service for the team members and for newly installed devices.

Phones & Accessories Installation – Project Managers can choose the number of standard phones needed for the project as well as any accessories which include handset cords, wall cord, and a sidecar with additional buttons.
