Install Canon MFD Driver for Windows 11


To print documents to a Canon multifunction device, you will first need the driver installed. You must be connected to the University network to complete the installation and on a University-owned computer signed in to ad/local. If you are not on campus, you can connect via cVPN.

The driver should be automatically installed on your device. If you have admin rights on your device, and the driver is not installed, you can install the driver by following the directions below. If you do not have admin rights, please contact IT Services.

Install SecurePrint Driver on Windows 11

  1. Open File Explorer.

  2. Type \\pprctprint-prd1\SecurePrint or \\pprctprint-prd2\SecurePrint into the search bar.

  3. Click enter.

  4. A screen will appear showing that it is finishing the SecurePrint's installation.

Verify SecurePrint Installation

  1. Go to Printers and Scanners in your device Settings.

  2. Check for SecurePrint on pprctprint-prd1 or SecurePrint on pprctprint-prd2 in the list.
