Purpose

The following guide is intended for employees who are looking to view or complete any of the following actions:

· Answer business questions using the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup and the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA segments in the Accounts Receivable Data Hub in Oracle

Terminology

· Receipt Method: Each receipt method is associated with a set of remittance bank accounts, which can be assigned to a receipt.

· Receipt Number: The receipt number includes a hyperlink to Manage Receipt Number page where you can edit the receipt information.

Business Questions

· What COA string did a particular transaction hit?

· View the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified transaction

· View the Concatenated Segments column for the full COA string

· View the Entity, Organization, Account, Fund, Purpose, and Program columns for the COA string sections

· Who was responsible for creating the receipt? When?

· View either the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup report or the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified receipt

· View the Created By column for who created the receipt

· View the Receipt Date column for when the receipt was created

· What receipts are tied to a particular bank account?

· View either the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup report or the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the Bank Account Name filter to narrow the table to a specified bank account

· View the table for the receipt information tied to the specified bank account

· What is the state of a particular receipt?

· View either the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup report or the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified receipt

· View the Receipt State column in the table

· What is the total entered number of receipts for a given bank account?

· View either the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup report or the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the Bank Account Name filter to narrow the search to a specified bank account

· The number of columns is the total number of receipts for the specified bank account

· When was the receipt created?

· View either the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup report or the Miscellaneous Receipts Lookup with COA Segments report

· Utilize the filters to narrow the table to a specified transaction

· View the Receipt Date column in the table
