· Contract Header Description: Contract header is the top-level component in a contract and is used to capture contract information like number, type, parties, business unit, start date, currency etc. Contract Header description incudes further details on the contract header.
· Contract Administrator: The individual responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing University contracts, including sales, purchases, and business partnerships.
· Contract Version: Contract versions are used to track and compare changes between parties, provide a common discussion reference between parties, and to enforce party-level locks to ensure both parties are reviewing the same version of a contract. A contract starts as version one.
· Contract Number: Contract number means the specific number assigned to an agreement by a service provider. This number is detailed in the corresponding contract schedule. The naming convention for a converted contract is Legacy Contract Number-CON Serialized contract Number, an example would be 22140547-Con000681 or 22141425-Con001497.
(X being the contract number from the legacy contract system) is a converted contract.
