Oracle Cloud Navigation


Purpose

The following guide is intended to assist users in navigating Oracle Cloud.

Terminology

· Navigator: The Navigator is composed of modules to complete specific business functions or transactions.

· Notifications: An icon to notify users of reminders or to-do items.

· Modules: Modules listed on the home page are available for users to quickly navigate to specific business functions or transactions.

· Taskbar: The taskbar lists available actions a user can take for a specific task or transaction.

· Oracle Guided Learning (OGL): Provides in-app guidance to help end-users walk through various business processes in Oracle. OGL consists of multiple content items that provide information to users while they navigate Oracle.

Oracle Cloud Navigation

1. Select the OKTA Single-Sign-On button and then complete the sign-in steps.

2. The Navigator icon helps users access various Oracle Modules.

3. The Toolbar allows users to take various actions. The two most common actions are listed below:

a. Home icon: Navigate back to the Home Page

b. Star icon: Review favorite and recent items

c. Flag: Watchlist of follow-up items

d. Bell icon: Review notifications of required actions or updates in their transaction.

e. User Initials: Settings and Actions allow the user to update preferences and settings.

4. Scrolling through the Menu Bar provides users another way to access Oracle Modules.

5. Apps allow users to launch a specific platform.

6. Quick Actions allow users to jump directly into module-specific transactions.

7. The Information Widget provides access to various process guides created with Oracle Guided Learning.

8. In many Oracle modules, users select the Taskbar to complete various financial transactions.
