Keep in Mind

· Workday’s Learning application is a learning management system (LMS) used to host and manage training for university workers with real-time tracking of completion requirements.

· A Learning Transcript only includes training content that is housed in and offered through Workday Learning, regardless of the learner's completion status.

· The Learning Transcript provides a quick snapshot of course details for upcoming in-person trainings (e.g. date, time, location).

· A course will appear more than once on a learning transcript if the course has an expiration date and requires retake.

· To learn more about the components of a learning transcript, please review the Understanding Your Learning Transcript in Workday Knowledge Base Article.

Steps

1. Log into Workday using your CNetID and password.

2. From the Home page, select Menu in the top-left corner and choose the Learning App located under the Personal category.

3. On the left-hand side is a navigation panel that includes different tabs. Select My Learning.

4. Within the View Your Learning History box select View Learning Transcript to see a list of your learning activities.

5. Your transcript will open. A transcript is broken into three sections:

a. Not Started: Courses/programs you are enrolled in but have not begun.

b. In Progress: Courses/programs you are enrolled in and have started but have not finished.

c. Learning History: Courses/programs you have completed.

i. Completion is determined based on the program/course requirements and program/course set up. Please refer to the program/course description to identify these requirements.

6. Optional features on a transcript: Icons located in the upper right corner of each transcript section provide additional functionalities, allowing you to export the data to Excel and PDF, apply column-specific filters, show associated charts, edit column preferences (such as show or hide, freeze and reorder), toggle between full screen viewing and standard modes, and expand or collapse both the associated chart and report rows.

i. Note: You can export your entire learning transcript, including all sections, by selecting the Export to Excel or Export to PDF icons at the very top-right of the page.

ii. For more information about Workday icons, please see the Workday Key Term and Standard Screen Icons Knowledge Base Article.

7. Select the Learning Home button located in the bottom left corner to return to your Workday Learning Application.

IMPORTANT: Another way to view the Learning Transcript as the employee, HRP, Learning Partner, or Manager is from the worker profile.
